Being just 400 meters from the railway station, just a 3 minute flat walk, makes it ideal for travelers who don’t drive or want to bring their car. For those guests that do travel to us by car we have a few car parking spaces at the rear of The Ashleigh (please enquire in advance for availability), or free parking to the front and side of the guest house.
The promenade is just 150 meters from The Ashleigh, as is the harbour, shops, bars and restaurants, making it the perfect retreat for those who want to enjoy a relaxing stroll on the seafront or the more adventurous, who like the social aspect of this fabulous Victorian seaside town.
